Texas Headache Center: The “all things” head, neck, and facial pain related branch of the practice, led by our founder, Brian D. Sorin, M.D. Here, all headache symptoms are worked up and treated with an individualized approach. Treatments may include preventative/abortive medication regimens, Botox, nerve blocks, trigger point injection, sphenopalatine nerve blocks, and cryotherapy.

Acute Center for Headache Emergency: Patients always ask, “What do I do if my medication doesn’t work? ” The answer is “call our office.” A.C.H.E. is our emergency headache clinic. Urgent headache patients can usually be seen the same day and is 5 days a week during normal office hours. Dr. Sorin, Dr. Bontia and Dr. Timm all review imaging of our patients and agree on recommendations moving forward. Our Doctors, Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants are proficient in acute block technique, including sphenopalatine blocks as well as trigger point injections.

Rebekah McGaha is the A.C.H.E. infusion nurse, she is proficient in starting IV’s, EKG and cold laser treatment.
